HISTORY OF ENGLISH-- RACE


The Celts were barbarians who lived in the Iberian Peninsula and north of the Alps.
The Romans were people who come from Italy and regarded the British Isles as their territory, although conquest was not attempted until the middle of the first century A.D.
Anglo-Saxon was Germanic conquerors that come to British Isles and attack Romans in the fourth century A.D.
Danish is what we call now as Denmark that in the ninth, tenth, and eleventh centuries battles against the Anglo-Saxon.
Normans were people that come from Normandy, France. The ancestor of these Normans had come down into France from Norway and Sweden. They made England as their state after defeated Harold’s army on October 14,1066.
